Cradles of Faith International is a christian based, non- governmental organization that reaches out to the less privileged in the rural and needy areas in Ghana.
The organization is a Non-Profitable entity that consist of missionaries and created for the purpose of rebuilding and affirming the best socio-economic principles that govern human behavior and conduct.
These principles amongst other issues state and elevate the importance of the human values of self-respect and respect of the dignity and rights of others are the most important issues whose promotion is a must for all humanity.
OUR MISSION
COFI missionaries are engaged in working with the local communities providing humanitarian services to the needy irrespective of religion, culture and creed.
Our mission is to lend a helping hand and to show love to our brothers and sisters in need.
In order to contain the social and health problems COFI missionaries are committed to work in partnership with the affected communities to realistically address the challenges and difficulties that exist in the socio-economic environment where illiteracy, unemployment, lack of skills and diseases of poverty are serious problems.
To help in the education of the people to become development conscience by placing emphasis on self-esteem, self-respect and self-confidence and the creation of local improvement of social, health and educational development.
AIMS/OBJECTIVES
Our overall aim is dedication to holistic missions and development of people and their communities.
To provide educational and health facilities to various communities in Ghana.
To build a Special Care Clinic and a Recreational/Social Therapy Center for the orphaned and needy children.
To provide a home for the orphaned and needy children.
To set up an ICT Training Center
To organize medical missions for the needy and to evangelize
To embark on a support scheme which seeks to enhance unemployment and poverty.
To organize entrepreneurial training to upgrade the knowledge skills and attitudes of SME’s (Small and Medium Enterprises).
OUR VISION
To be a vehicle of social change in the local communities Cradles of Faith work in partnership with the local communities in their search for real causes and real solutions to their problems.
To continue to be the warm mother's embrace in whose comfort the communities lay their heads as they cry and the gentle hand that wipes away their tears of grief in their moments of deep sorrow;
To continue to be the extended arm of strength and support to the local communities when they falter and stumble in their attempts to change the existing socio-economic mind-set which has resulted in the lowest social difficulties and deprivations in the lives of the communities;
To continue to be a clear voice of reason and a kind voice of hope and determined courage in the fight of the local communities against the scourge of the diseases of ignorance, poverty, unemployment.
